Weekly work hours calculator
Add each shift separately, including split shifts on the same day.
What the calculation includes
Paid minutes equal the time from start to end minus unpaid break minutes. An end time earlier than the start means the following day. Start and end must differ, and each shift must be shorter than 24 hours.
Example: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM is eight hours. A 30-minute unpaid break leaves 7.5 paid hours. A 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift with the same break also leaves 7.5 paid wall-clock hours.
What it does not calculate
Results do not apply overtime, pay rates, holiday rules, time-zone conversion or daylight-saving elapsed-time adjustments. Check local requirements and your payroll policy separately.
